Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لاَ يُقْطَعُ الْخَائِنُ وَلاَ الْمُنْتَهِبُ وَلاَ الْمُخْتَلِسُ " .

Muhammad ibn Bashshar narrated to us; Abu 'Asim narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir ibn 'Abdullah, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The hand of the traitor, the plunderer, and the snatcher is not to be cut off.
