حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَرَفَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَفْصٍ الأَبَّارُ، جَمِيعًا عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لاَ تُقَامُ الْحُدُودُ فِي الْمَسَاجِدِ " .

Suwayd ibn Said reported to us: Ali ibn Mushir reported to us. Al-Hasan ibn Arafa reported to us: Abu Hafs al-Abbar reported to us. Both routes go through Ismail ibn Muslim, from Amr ibn Dinar, from Tawus, from Ibn Abbas, that the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and grant him peace) said, ‘Prescribed punishments are not to be carried out in mosques.’
