Ahmad ibn Abdah and Muhammad ibn Ubayd al-Madini Abu Ubayd reported to us; they said: Abd al-Aziz ibn Muhammad al-Darawardi reported to us, from Suhayl ibn Abi Salih, from his father, from Abu Hurairah: Sad ibn Ubadah al-Ansari said, ‘Messenger of Allah, if a man finds another man with his wife, should he kill him?’ The Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and grant him peace) said, ‘No.’ Sad said, ‘Indeed, by the One who honored you with the Truth!’ The Messenger of Allah said, ‘Listen to what your leader says.’
