حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الأَحْوَلِ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَعْدًا، وَأَبَا، بَكْرَةَ وَكُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا يَقُولُ سَمِعَتْ أُذُنَاىَ، وَوَعَى، قَلْبِي مُحَمَّدًا صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " مَنِ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ وَهُوَ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ غَيْرُ أَبِيهِ فَالْجَنَّةُ عَلَيْهِ حَرَامٌ " .

Ali ibn Muhammad reported to us: Abu Muawiyah reported to us, from Asim al-Ahwal, from Abu Uthman al-Nahdi, who said: I heard Sad and Abu Bakrah, each of them saying: My ears heard and my heart retained Muhammad (Allah bless him and grant him peace) saying, ‘Whoever knowingly claims affiliation to someone other than his father, knowing that he is not his father, Paradise is forbidden to him.’
