Sunan Ibn Majah 2611
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَنِ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ لَمْ يَرَحْ رَائِحَةَ الْجَنَّةِ وَإِنَّ رِيحَهَا لَيُوجَدُ مِنْ مَسِيرَةِ خَمْسِمِائَةِ عَامٍ " .

Muhammad ibn al-Sabbah informed us: Sufyan reported to us, from Abd al-Karim, from Mujahid, from Abdullah ibn Amr, who said: The Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and grant him peace) said, ‘Whoever claims affiliation to someone other than his father will not smell the fragrance of Paradise, though its fragrance can be perceived from a distance of five hundred years.’
