Bakr ibn Khalaf Abu Bishr narrated to us; Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from Sa'id ibn Abi 'Arubah, from Qatadah, from Yunus ibn Jubayr, from Hittan ibn 'Abdullah, from 'Ubadah ibn al-Samit, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Take from me, take from me. Allah has made a way for them: a virgin with a virgin—one hundred lashes and exile for a year; and a previously married person with a previously married person—one hundred lashes and stoning.

Notes and open questions — unreviewed
  • The Arabic specifies virgin and previously married persons without explicitly stating the gendered parentheticals added by the witness. The repeated command “Take from me” is retained.
