Sunan Ibn Majah 2329
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ خِلاَسٍ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّهُ ذَكَرَ أَنَّ رَجُلَيْنِ، ادَّعَيَا دَابَّةً وَلَمْ يَكُنْ بَيْنَهُمَا بَيِّنَةٌ فَأَمَرَهُمَا النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ يَسْتَهِمَا عَلَى الْيَمِينِ .
Abu Bakr bin Abi Shaybah narrated to us: Khalid bin Al-Harith narrated to us: Said bin Abi Arubah narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Khilas, from Abu Rafi, from Abu Hurairah, who mentioned that two men claimed ownership of an animal, and neither of them had proof. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered them to draw lots over which one should swear the oath.
