Sunan Ibn Majah 2330
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ، وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم اخْتَصَمَ إِلَيْهِ رَجُلاَنِ بَيْنَهُمَا دَابَّةٌ وَلَيْسَ لِوَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا بَيِّنَةٌ فَجَعَلَهَا بَيْنَهُمَا نِصْفَيْنِ .
Ishaq bin Mansur, Muhammad bin Mamar, and Zuhair bin Muhammad narrated to us. They said: Rawh bin Ubadah narrated to us: Said narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Said bin Abi Burdah, from his father, from Abu Musa: Two men brought a dispute concerning an animal before the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and neither had proof. So he divided it between them into two equal shares.
