Sunan Ibn Majah 2337
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لاَ يَمْنَعْ أَحَدُكُمْ جَارَهُ أَنْ يَضَعَ خَشَبَةً عَلَى جِدَارِهِ " .
Translation
Harmalah bin Yahya narrated to us: Abdullah bin Wahb narrated to us: Ibn Lahi ah informed me, from Abu Al-Aswad, from Ikrimah, from Ibn Abbas, that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: None of you should prevent his neighbor from placing a wooden beam on his wall.
