Passing Judgement On The Basis Of A Witness And An Oath Sunan Ibn Majah 2369
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلمقَضَى بِالْيَمِينِ مَعَ الشَّاهِدِ .
Translation
It was narrated from Jabir that
the Prophet (ﷺ) passed judgement on the basis of an oath (from the claimant) along with a (single) witness.
