Abu al-Malih reported: Some women from Homs came to visit Aisha. She asked, “Where are you from?” They said, “Syria.” She replied, “Perhaps you are from the region where women enter public baths?” They said, “Yes.” She said that she had heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say that a woman who takes off her clothes anywhere other than her husband home has torn the veil between herself and her Lord. Another version says that anywhere other than her own home, she has torn the veil between herself and Allah, Mighty and Majestic. Al-Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud transmitted it.
