Mishkat al-Masabih 4344
وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «يَا عَائِشَةُ إِذَا أَرَدْتِ اللُّحُوقَ بِي فَلْيَكْفِكِ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا كَزَادِ الرَّاكِبِ وَإِيَّاكِ وَمُجَالَسَةَ الْأَغْنِيَاءِ وَلَا تَسْتَخْلِقِي ثَوْبًا حَتَّى تُرَقِّعِيهِ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَقَالَ: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ لَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ حَدِيثِ صَالِحِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ: صَالِحُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ مُنكر الحَدِيث
Aisha reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me, “Aisha, if you wish to join me, let worldly provisions be enough for you as provisions for a traveler. Beware of keeping company with the wealthy, and do not consider a garment worn out until you have patched it.” Al-Tirmidhi transmitted it and said, “This is a rare hadith, known only through the report of Salih ibn Hassan.” Muhammad ibn Ismail said, “Salih ibn Hassan is rejected in hadith.”
