Translation

Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw me wearing a garment dyed reddish with safflower and said, “What is this?” I realized that he disliked it, so I went and burned it. The Prophet ﷺ asked, “What did you do with your garment?” I replied, “I burned it.” He said, “Why did you not give it to someone in your family to wear? There is no harm in it for women.” Abu Dawud transmitted it.
