Abu Hurayrah reported that the Messenger of Allah said: ‘On the night I was taken on the Night Journey, I met Moses’—then he described him—‘and there he was, a man with a lean build and lank hair, as though he were one of the men of Shanū’ah. I met Jesus son of Mary, of medium height and reddish complexion, as if he had just come out of a bath. I saw Abraham, and among his descendants I am the one who most resembles him.’ He said: ‘Two vessels were brought to me, one containing milk and the other wine. I was told, “Take whichever you wish.” I took the milk and drank it. I was told, “You have been guided to the natural disposition. Had you taken the wine, your community would have gone astray.”’ Agreed upon.
