Arabic hadith text
وَعَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قا ل: «إِنَّكُمْ مَنْصُورُونَ وَمُصِيبُونَ وَمَفْتُوحٌ لَكُمْ فَمَنْ أَدْرَكَ ذَلِكَ مِنْكُمْ فَلْيَتَّقِ اللَّهَ وَلْيَأْمُرْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَلْيَنْهَ عَن الْمُنكر» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
Translation
‘Abdullah ibn Mas‘ud reported that the Messenger of God ﷺ said: ‘You will be given victory, gain spoils, and have lands opened to you. Whoever among you lives to see that should be mindful of God, command what is right, and forbid what is wrong.’ [Abu Dawud transmitted it]
