Translation

‘Amr ibn Akhtab al-Ansari reported: One day the Messenger of God ﷺ led us in the dawn prayer, then ascended the pulpit and addressed us until noon. He came down and prayed, then ascended the pulpit and addressed us until the afternoon prayer was due. He came down and prayed, then ascended the pulpit and continued addressing us until sunset. He informed us of what would happen until the Day of Resurrection. The one among us with the best memory retained the most. [Muslim transmitted it]
