Mishkat al-Masabih 23
Arabic hadith text
وَعَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَا أَحَدٌ أَصْبَرُ عَلَى أَذًى يَسْمَعُهُ مِنَ اللَّهِ يَدْعُونَ لَهُ الْوَلَدَ ثُمَّ يُعَافِيهِمْ وَيَرْزُقُهُمْ»
Translation
Abu Musa al-Ashari reported that the Messenger of God said: “No one is more patient in the face of hurtful words he hears than God. They attribute a child to Him, yet He grants them well-being and provides for them.”
