Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘If a mouse falls into clarified butter and it is solid, throw it and what is around it away; but if it is liquid, do not go near it.’ Ahmad and Abu Dawud transmitted it. Al-Darimi transmitted it from Ibn ʿAbbas.
