Arabic hadith text
وَعَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ: إِنَّ النَّبِيَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنِ الْأُغْلُوطَاتِ. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
Translation

Mu'awiya said that the Prophet forbade the discussion of thornyquestions. Abu Dawud transmitted it.
