عَن أم هَانِئ قَالَتْ: إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ بَيْتَهَا يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ فَاغْتَسَلَ وَصَلَّى ثَمَانِيَ رَكَعَاتٍ فَلَمْ أَرَ صَلَاةً قَطُّ أَخَفَّ مِنْهَا غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ يُتِمُّ الرُّكُوعَ وَالسُّجُودَ. وَقَالَتْ فِي رِوَايَة أُخْرَى: وَذَلِكَ ضحى

Umm Hani reported that on the day of the conquest of Mecca, the Prophet entered her house, performed the ritual bath, and prayed eight units. I never saw a prayer shorter than that, though he completed the bowing and prostration. Another report says: It was the forenoon prayer. Al-Bukhari and Muslim transmitted it.
