وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا سَافَرَ وَأَرَادَ أَنْ يَتَطَوَّعَ اسْتَقْبَلَ الْقِبْلَةَ بِنَاقَتِهِ فَكَبَّرَ ثُمَّ صَلَّى حَيْثُ وَجهه ركابه. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد

Anas reported that when the Messenger of God was travelling and wished to offer a voluntary prayer, he would turn his camel toward the qibla and say God is greatest. Then he would pray in whatever direction his mount carried him. Abu Dawud transmitted it.
