Aws ibn Aws reported that the Messenger of God said: Whoever washes himself and bathes on Friday, goes early and comes early, walks rather than riding, draws near to the imam, listens, and does not engage in idle speech will receive, for every step he takes, the reward of a year of fasting and night prayer. Al-Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, al-Nasa’i, and Ibn Majah transmitted it.
