Aisha, may God be pleased with her, said: During the time of the Messenger of God, the sun was eclipsed. He sent someone to call out, “The prayer is congregational.” He stepped forward and prayed four rakahs, and in two rakahs and four prostrations.
Aisha said: “I have never bowed or prostrated in a prayer longer than that.”

As supplied, the Arabic wording is syntactically and numerically unclear. The English witness instead says two rakahs with four bowings and four prostrations, which cannot be substituted for the Arabic.
Can the Arabic source wording be checked against a reliable edition or parallel before resolving the prayer description?
