ʿAbd Allah ibn Umm Maktum said: “Messenger of Allah, Medina has many harmful creatures and wild beasts, and I am blind. Can you grant me a concession?” He asked, “Can you hear ‘Come to prayer, come to success’?” He replied, “Yes.” He said, “Then come!” He granted him no concession. Abu Dawud and al-Nasaʾi transmitted it.
