Abu Hurayrah, may God be pleased with him, reported that the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Do not get ahead of the imam. When he says, God is most great, say, God is most great. When he says, Not those who have gone astray, say, Amen. When he bows, bow. When he says, God hears whoever praises Him, say, O God, our Lord, to You belongs all praise. Al-Bukhari did not include the words, When he says, Not those who have gone astray.
