Mishkat al-Masabih 1145
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ فَأَحْسَنَ وُضُوءَهُ ثُمَّ رَاحَ فَوَجَدَ النَّاسَ قَدْ صَلَّوْا أَعْطَاهُ اللَّهُ مِثْلَ أَجْرِ مَنْ صَلَّاهَا وَحَضَرَهَا لَا يَنْقُصُ ذَلِكَ م أُجُورهم شَيْئا» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد وَالنَّسَائِيّ

Abu Hurayrah, may God be pleased with him, reported that the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever performs ablution and does it well, then goes to the prayer and finds that the people have already prayed, God will give him a reward like that of those who prayed and attended it, without diminishing anything from their reward. Abu Dawud and al-Nasai transmitted it.
