وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «رَحِمَ اللَّهُ امْرَءًا صَلَّى قَبْلَ الْعَصْرِ أَرْبَعًا» . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالتِّرْمِذِيُّ

Ibn Umar reported that the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: May God have mercy on a person who prays four rakahs before the afternoon prayer. Ahmad and al-Tirmidhi transmitted it.
