وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُطِيلُ الْقِرَاءَةَ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ حَتَّى يَتَفَرَّقَ أَهْلُ الْمَسْجِدِ. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد

Translation

Ibn Abbas said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, would prolong the recitation in the two rakahs after the sunset prayer until the people of the mosque dispersed. Abu Dawud transmitted it.
