Abu Said said: When the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, got up during the night, he said God is most great, then said: Glory be to You, O God, and praise be to You. Blessed is Your name, exalted is Your majesty, and there is no god besides You. Then he said: God is supremely great. Then he said: I seek refuge in God, the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing, from Satan, the accursed, from his prompting, his blowing, and his spitting. Al-Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, and al-Nasai transmitted it. Abu Dawud added after the words, and there is no god besides You, that he then said There is no god but God three times. At the end of the hadith, he added: Then he recites.
