Arabic hadith text
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِذَا ضَرَبَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَتَّقِ الوجهَ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
Translation
Abu Huraira reported the Prophet as saying, “When one of you inflicts a beating he should avoid striking the face.”Abu Dawud transmitted it.
