Arabic hadith text
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" الْخَمْرُ مِنْ هَاتَيْنِ الشَّجرتينِ: النخلةِ والعِنَبَةِ ". رَوَاهُ مُسلم
Translation
Abu Huraira reported God’s Messenger as saying, “Wine comes from these two trees, the date-palm and the grapevine.” Muslim transmitted it.
