Translation

Abdullah ibn Umar reported that the Messenger of God said: Whoever drinks wine, God will not accept his prayer for forty mornings. If he repents, God accepts his repentance. If he does so again, God will not accept his prayer for forty mornings; if he repents, God accepts his repentance. If he does so again, God will not accept his prayer for forty mornings; if he repents, God accepts his repentance. If he does so a fourth time, God will not accept his prayer for forty mornings. If he repents, God will not accept his repentance, and He will give him to drink from the river of al-Khabal. Al-Tirmidhi transmitted it. Al-Nasa'i, Ibn Majah, and al-Darimi transmitted it from Abdullah ibn Amr.
