Daylam al-Himyari reported: I said to the Messenger of God, Messenger of God, we live in a cold land and do hard work there. We make a drink from this wheat to strengthen us for our work and for the cold of our country. He asked, Does it intoxicate? I said, Yes. He said, Then avoid it. I said, The people will not give it up. He said, If they do not give it up, then fight them. Abu Dawud transmitted it.
