In Explanation of Wine, and the Threat to him who Drinks it - Section 3 Mishkat al-Masabih 3655
Arabic hadith text
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" ثَلَاثَةٌ قَدْ حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْجَنَّةَ: مُدْمِنُ الْخَمْرِ وَالْعَاقُّ وَالدَّيُّوثُ الَّذِي يُقِرُّ فِي أَهْلِهِ الْخَبَثَ ". رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالنَّسَائِيّ
Translation
Ibn ‘Umar reported God's Messenger as saying, “There are three to whom God has forbidden paradise
one who is addicted to wine, an undutiful son, and a cuckold who agrees to his women-folk’s adultery." Ahmad and Nasa'i transmitted it.
