Ibn Abbas reported that the Messenger of God said: If anyone has intercourse with an animal, kill him and kill the animal with him. Ibn Abbas was asked, What is the matter with the animal? He said, I did not hear anything from the Messenger of God about that, but I think he disliked that its meat should be eaten or that it should be put to use after this had been done to it. Al-Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, and Ibn Majah transmitted it.
