Translation

Abdullah ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Husayn al-Makki reported that the Messenger of God said: There is no hand amputation for fruit still hanging on trees, nor for livestock kept in mountain pastures. But once it has been brought into the livestock enclosure or the drying yard, the hand is to be cut off if its value reaches that of a shield. Malik transmitted it.
