Mishkat al-Masabih 421
Arabic hadith text
وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: كَانَتْ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خِرْقَةٌ يُنَشِّفُ بِهَا أَعْضَاءَهُ بَعْدَ الْوُضُوءِ. رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَقَالَ: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ لَيْسَ بِالْقَائِمِ وَأَبُو مُعَاذٍ الرَّاوِي ضَعِيف عِنْد أهل الحَدِيث
Translation
ʿĀʾisha said: ‘The Messenger of Allah had a cloth with which he dried his limbs after ablution.’
Al-Tirmidhī transmitted it and said: ‘This is not a well-established report; Abū Muʿādh, its transmitter, is considered weak by hadith scholars.’
