وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا تَقْرَأُ الْحَائِضُ وَلَا الْجُنُبُ شَيْئًا مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ

Translation

Ibn ʿUmar reported that the Messenger of Allah said: ‘A menstruating woman and a person in a state of sexual impurity must not recite any part of the Qurʾān.’ Al-Tirmidhī transmitted it.
