عَن سَمُرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَبِهَا وَنِعْمَتْ وَمَنِ اغْتَسَلَ فَالْغُسْلُ أَفْضَلُ» . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَأَبُو دَاوُد وَالتِّرْمِذِيّ وَالنَّسَائِيّ والدارمي

Translation

Samura reported that the Messenger of Allah said: ‘If anyone performs ablution on Friday, that is good; but if anyone performs the ritual bath, the ritual bath is better.’ Aḥmad, Abū Dāwūd, al-Tirmidhī, al-Nasāʾī, and al-Dārimī transmitted it. (Graded ḥasan.)
