وَعَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُول الله مَا تحل لِي مِنِ امْرَأَتِي وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ؟ قَالَ: «مَا فَوْقَ الْإِزَارِ وَالتَّعَفُّفُ عَنْ ذَلِكَ أَفْضَلُ» . رَوَاهُ رَزِينٌ وَقَالَ مُحْيِي السُّنَّةِ: إِسْنَادُهُ لَيْسَ بِقَوِيٍّ

Translation

Muʿādh ibn Jabal said: ‘I asked, “Messenger of Allah, what is permissible for me with my wife while she is menstruating?” He replied, “What is above the waist-wrapper; but abstaining from that is better.”’ Razīn transmitted it. Muḥyī al-Sunna said its chain is not strong. (Graded ḍaʿīf.)
