Translation

ʿAdī ibn Thābit reported from his father, from his grandfather—Yaḥyā ibn Maʿīn said that ʿAdī’s grandfather was named Dīnār—that the Prophet said concerning a woman with prolonged bleeding: ‘She should refrain from prayer during the days of her usual menstrual period, then perform a ritual bath and perform ablution for each prayer. She should fast and pray.’ Al-Tirmidhī and Abū Dāwūd transmitted it. (Graded ṣaḥīḥ.)
