Mishkat al-Masabih 2349

Ibn ‘Abbas reported, concerning God’s words ‘except for minor faults,’ that the Messenger of God (peace be upon him) said: ‘If You forgive, O God, forgive much; and what servant of Yours has not fallen into minor sin?’ Al-Tirmidhi transmitted it and said: ‘This is a hasan sahih gharib hadith.’ The Arabic source marks it as not studied by al-Albani.
