Mishkat al-Masabih 2394
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ قَالَ حِينَ يُصْبِحُ: (فَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ حِينَ تُمْسُونَ وَحِينَ تُصْبِحُونَ ولهُ الحمدُ فِي السمواتِ والأرضِ وعشيَّاً وحينَ تُظهرون) إِلى قَوْله: (وَكَذَلِكَ تُخْرَجونَ) أَدْرَكَ مَا فَاتَهُ فِي يَوْمِهِ ذَلِكَ وَمَنْ قَالَهُنَّ حِينَ يُمْسِي أَدْرَكَ مَا فَاتَهُ فِي ليلتِهِ ". رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
Ibn ‘Abbas reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Whoever says in the morning, “So glorify Allah when you enter the evening and when you enter the morning. To Him belongs praise in the heavens and the earth, in the afternoon and when you enter the noon hour”—up to His words, “And likewise you will be brought forth”—will make up for what he missed during that day. Whoever says it in the evening will make up for what he missed during that night.’ Reported by Abu Dawud. Graded Da‘if by al-Albani.
