‘Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went to bed, he would say: “O Allah, I seek refuge in Your Noble Face and Your perfect words from the evil of whatever You hold by its forelock. O Allah, You remove debt and sin. O Allah, Your army cannot be defeated, Your promise cannot be broken, and no wealth or good fortune can avail its possessor against You. Glory and praise belong to You.” Reported by Abu Dawud. The hadith was not studied by al-Albani.
