Mishkat al-Masabih 2404

Abu Sa‘id reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever says when going to bed three times, ‘I seek forgiveness from Allah, other than whom there is no god, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer, and I repent to Him,’ Allah will forgive his sins, even if they were like the foam of the sea, the grains of sand at ‘Alij, the leaves of the trees, or the days of this world.” Al-Tirmidhi reported it and said, “This is a gharīb hadith.” Graded Da‘if by al-Albani.
