عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَوْ أَنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ أَهْلَهُ قَالَ: بِسْمِ اللَّهِ اللَّهُمَّ جَنِّبْنَا الشَّيْطَانَ وَجَنِّبِ الشَّيْطَانَ مَا رَزَقْتَنَا فَإِنَّهُ إِنْ يُقَدَّرْ بَيْنَهُمَا وَلَدٌ فِي ذَلِكَ لَمْ يَضُرَّهُ شَيْطَانٌ أَبَدًا "

Translation

Ibn ‘Abbas reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “If one of you, when approaching his wife, says, ‘In the name of Allah. O Allah, keep Satan away from us and keep Satan away from what You provide us,’ and a child is decreed for them from that union, Satan will never harm him.” Reported by al-Bukhari and Muslim; graded agreed upon by al-Albani.
