Translation

Ibn Mas‘ud reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘When someone’s worries become many, let him say: “O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your male servant and female servant. My forelock is in Your hand; Your command over me is carried out, and Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that belongs to You, by which You have named Yourself, revealed it in Your Book, taught it to any of Your creation, inspired Your servants with it, or kept it exclusively in the hidden knowledge with You: make the Qur’an the spring of my heart and the means of clearing my worry and grief.”’ No servant says this without Allah removing his grief and replacing it with relief. Reported by Razin. The hadith was not studied by al-Albani.
