‘A’ishah reported that the Prophet ﷺ would say: “O Allah, I seek refuge in You from laziness, extreme old age, debt, and sin. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment and trial of the Fire, the trial and punishment of the grave, the evil of the trial of wealth, the evil of the trial of poverty, and the evil of the trial of the False Messiah, the Dajjal. O Allah, wash away my sins with water, snow, and hail; purify my heart as a white garment is cleansed of dirt; and distance me from my sins as You have distanced the East from the West.” Reported by al-Bukhari and Muslim; graded agreed upon by al-Albani.
