Translation

Abu Hurayrah reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would say: “O Allah, make beneficial for me what You have taught me, teach me what will benefit me, and increase me in knowledge. Praise belongs to Allah in every circumstance, and I seek refuge in Allah from the state of the people of the Fire.” Reported by al-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah. Al-Tirmidhi said, “This is a gharīb hadith in its chain.” The hadith was not studied by al-Albani.
