Translation

Sa‘d (may God be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of God (peace be upon him) said: ‘The supplication of Dhu al-Nun, when he called upon his Lord inside the whale, was: “There is no deity but You; glory be to You. I have indeed been among the wrongdoers.” No Muslim supplicates with it for anything without God answering him.’ Ahmad and al-Tirmidhi transmitted it. The Arabic source marks it as not studied by al-Albani.
